Censys

Censys is an External Attack Surface Management Platform that provides:

• Internet visibility
• Internet intelligence
• Remediation data

Integrating with Censys enables you to receive ASM Risk findings and external asset information via the Seemplicity Platform.

Prerequisites

While logged in to Censys, create an instance. You will need to provide the instance’s API Key to Seemplicity. You can review official Censys API documentation here.

Create a Censys API Key

• Create a Censys API Key
• Copy the API Key and save in a safe location

Add an Instance in Seemplicity

1. In Seemplicity, go to Settings > Integrations - Data Sources > Censys ASM > Integrate.
2. In the Name field, enter a descriptive name for this instance.
3. In the API Key field, paste the value of the key you copied from Censys.
4. In the Collection Settings, select the enabled toggle, when to collect data (daily or weekly), and time.
5. In the Automatic Resolution Settings, enter values (in number of days) for Last Reported Time and Last Collected Time.

6. When finished, select Save.
